THE PROBLEM
Managing athlete information throughout their careers requires coordinating personal details, sporting records, medical histories, and physical assessments. When this information is scattered, maintaining comprehensive records and supporting collaboration across an institution becomes difficult.
The challenge was to centralize these records and connect them with sporting activities—training sessions, tournaments, and teams—in a private, organized, and easy-to-use environment.
THE STRATEGIC DECISION
At Infinite Software, we developed a platform that brings each athlete’s information together in one place. Profiles combine personal and sporting data, medical history, physical records, functional assessments, comments, and audiovisual material, providing a comprehensive view of their development.
We also organized tournament information, participating teams, statistics, and training sessions, with filtering by location, date, and category. A calendar brings together sporting events, competitions, and training sessions to support planning.
The platform provides restricted access and user accounts with different permission levels and editing capabilities. This structure enables teams to share information internally and control access to records through an interface designed to simplify data entry and viewing.
THE RESULT
A tool implemented for the Uruguayan Basketball Federation that centralizes athlete management and connects individual tracking with the institution’s sporting activities.
The system supports collaboration, access to historical records, and sports planning, providing an organized information foundation to support each athlete throughout their career.
