We offer branding and identity (naming, visual identity, brand guidelines), packaging and product (packaging design, product systems, point-of-sale communication) and digital experiences (UX\/UI, websites, applications). Services can be hired separately or as a single integrated project, with one team responsible for the whole brand ecosystem.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i>What does a brand identity project include?<\/a><\/h3>

It starts with understanding the business and its positioning. From there, we define the brand system: naming when needed, visual identity, and brand guidelines so it can be applied consistently. The exact scope depends on whether it’s a new brand or the renewal of an existing one.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i>What is strategic design, and how is it different from graphic design?<\/a><\/h3>

Strategic design starts from a business decision and only then moves to form. Graphic design solves how something looks; strategic design defines what a brand should communicate, to whom, and against whom it competes. Both are needed, but the order matters.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i>When should you redesign a product's packaging?<\/a><\/h3>

When the pack no longer reflects the product or the brand, when the target audience changes, or when it loses presence against competitors at the point of sale. Also when formats, regulations or sales channels change. The starting point is understanding how that product is actually bought today.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i>When is it time for a rebrand?<\/a><\/h3>

When the current identity is holding the business back: the company changed direction, entered new markets, or the brand no longer represents what it does. A rebrand isn’t a logo change. It aligns identity, communication and strategy, and for brands with a long history it means deciding what to keep and what to renew.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i>Does CAPUT also design websites and apps?<\/a><\/h3>

Yes. We design digital experiences: UX\/UI, websites, applications and digital design systems. For projects that need development, we work with Infinite Software Co., a web and software development firm. The brand is managed end to end, from strategy to implementation, through a single point of contact.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i>What kinds of companies does CAPUT work with?<\/a><\/h3>

We work with companies in consumer goods, food and beverage, pharma and health, energy and industry, education and the public sector, and retail and technology. These are brands with high visual standards or regulated contexts that want a strategic partner, not just a design vendor.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i>Does CAPUT work with pharmaceutical and health brands?<\/a><\/h3>

Yes. We have experience with over-the-counter (OTC) products, dermatology and nutrition. These categories come with regulatory and information-clarity requirements that shape packaging and communication. We design within those rules while keeping the brand distinctive against everything else competing for attention on the shelf.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i>How much does a branding or packaging project cost?<\/a><\/h3>

It depends on scope: creating a brand from scratch is not the same as renewing a packaging system with many products. We don’t compete on price; we compete on strategic depth. After an initial conversation to understand your business, we send a proposal with defined scope, stages and budget.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

It begins with a conversation to understand the business, the brand’s current moment and what you want to achieve. From there we prepare a proposal with scope and stages. Before designing, we run a diagnosis: without understanding where the brand competes, any visual decision is a bet.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i>Does CAPUT work with companies outside Uruguay?<\/a><\/h3>

Yes. From our base in Montevideo, we work with brands across Latin America, with a focus on food and beverage. We are now opening our practice to English-speaking markets, bringing the same strategic approach to brands that want a design partner with business vision.
